Paramor Cookie Policy
Effective: June 12, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Paramor uses cookies and similar technologies on paramor.ai. Paramor is operated by Dynamanic LLC ("Dynamanic," "Paramor," "we," "us"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Age Verification & Adult Content Notice.
The short version: Paramor uses one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics. Because the only cookie we set is essential to the service, we do not show a consent banner asking you to opt in to tracking — there is no tracking to opt in to.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. When you return to the site, your browser sends the cookie back, which lets the site recognize your session. "Similar technologies" include things like localStorage, sessionStorage, and session tokens, which serve a comparable purpose. Where we say "cookies" in this policy, we mean cookies and these closely related technologies.
2. The cookies Paramor uses
Paramor sets a single, strictly necessary authentication cookie. We do not set any other category of cookie.
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Set by | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
pmr_auth |
Strictly necessary (authentication / session) | Keeps you securely signed in as you move between pages, and protects your session against tampering. Without it you would be logged out on every page load. | Paramor (first-party) | Session-based; expires when your session ends or you sign out. TODO (counsel/engineering): confirm exact max-age — e.g., session-only vs. a fixed period such as 30 days for "remember me." |
Properties of this cookie:
- It is first-party — set by Paramor on the
paramor.aidomain, not by any third party. - It is used only for authentication and session integrity, not to profile you or follow you across other sites.
- It is configured with security protections appropriate to a sign-in cookie (for example,
HttpOnly,Secure, and an appropriateSameSitesetting) so that it is transmitted only over HTTPS and is not readable by client-side scripts. TODO (engineering): confirm the deployed cookie flags so this statement matches production.
3. What we do NOT use
To be explicit, on paramor.ai we do not use:
- Advertising or marketing cookies. Paramor does not run ads and does not set advertising cookies.
- Cross-site / cross-context behavioral tracking cookies. We do not track you across other websites or build advertising profiles. This is consistent with our Privacy Policy: we do not "sell" or "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Third-party analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any comparable third-party web-analytics cookie on paramor.ai.
If this ever changes — for example, if we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool — we will update this policy first, list the new cookie in the table above, and, where the law requires consent, ask for it before any non-essential cookie is set.
A note on our service vendors
Paramor relies on third-party vendors to deliver the service. As described in our Privacy Policy, these include Stripe (payments), Twilio (telephony and phone verification), Yoti (age verification via facial age estimation and optional ID methods), our AI providers (OpenAI / OpenRouter for language, Deepgram for speech-to-text, ElevenLabs for text-to-speech, and Black Forest Labs / FLUX for image generation where enabled), and Amazon Web Services (hosting and Rekognition image moderation).
When you interact directly with one of these providers' own hosted flows — for example, entering card details in Stripe's checkout or completing a facial age-estimation check with Yoti — that provider may set its own cookies on its own domain, governed by that provider's cookie and privacy notices, to operate and secure its flow and to prevent fraud. Those are not cookies Paramor sets on paramor.ai, and we do not control them. We do not embed third-party advertising or social-media tracking pixels on our pages.
4. Why our authentication cookie is "strictly necessary"
The pmr_auth cookie is essential to provide a service you have actively requested: a signed-in account experience. Without it, we could not keep you authenticated between page loads, and the core features of Paramor — your account, your AI companion personas, your call settings, and your subscription — would not work.
Under laws such as the EU/UK ePrivacy rules and the GDPR/UK GDPR, strictly necessary cookies of this kind do not require prior opt-in consent, because they are required to deliver the service you asked for. We still tell you about it here in the interest of transparency.
5. How to control or delete cookies
Because our only cookie is essential to signing in, disabling or deleting it will log you out and may prevent you from using Paramor. With that in mind, you remain in full control of cookies in your browser. You can:
- View and delete cookies already stored by paramor.ai.
- Block cookies for paramor.ai or all sites.
- Set your browser to clear cookies when you close it (this will sign you out of Paramor each time).
Where to find these controls in common browsers:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Apple Safari: Settings/Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
On mobile, the equivalent controls are in your browser app's privacy settings. Signing out of Paramor will also clear your active session.
Because Paramor does not perform cross-site tracking, browser-level "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals do not change what we collect via cookies — there is no tracking or sale/share to opt out of. We honor applicable privacy-rights requests as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Children
Paramor is strictly an 18+ service, and access to our optional adult ("R") tier additionally requires real age verification. We do not direct cookies at, or knowingly set cookies to track, anyone under 18. Our age-assurance and minor-safety measures are described in our Privacy Policy and our Age Verification & Adult Content Notice.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, if we introduce a new cookie. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and, where a change introduces a non-essential cookie that requires your consent, we will obtain that consent before the cookie is set.
